For as long as I can remember, Friday night meant pizza night. It started when I was young, and the tradition continues today with my own family.
Even through the pandemic, family pizza night is a favourite and we look forward to it every week. Throw in a movie and it’s a perfect end to a hectic week.
Sometimes we order in, but we also cook from frozen on occasion or make our own. When we come home from work or school at the end of the week, we are often tired and hungry. If you aren’t too tired to cook, making homemade individual pizzas are a great activity to do with the kids and a great tradition to pass on. If you opt for delivery or pick up, Boston Pizza, Canadian Pizza Unlimited, Domino’s Pizza, Ducks on the Roof, Little Caesars, Papa John’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Red Swan Pizza and The Boot are all open for delivery and many are also offering great specials.
Panago Pizza is not only offering delivery and curbside pickup, but for children celebrating birthdays during this social-distancing time, they are also delivering free pizza! Children aged 4-13 with May birthdays can receive a small pizza as a gift from the Cochrane Panago location (call for details).
